What’s up?

Hey!

I’m Vee.
And obviously you’ve clicked on this page to know more about this three lettered name girl.
Three happens to be my favorite number and also my birth date. Right now … I’m seventeen!
My favorite color is blue. And if given an option, I’d let my middle name be ‘Messi’ (After Lionel Messi, the footballer)

I love reading books.
Words are precious to me and even the simplest of them touch my life. “Okay?” … “Okay.”
The first book I read was the Five Find-Outers series by Enid Blyton. Before that I used to think that reading was for adults and never fingered a book.
My inspirational/ role model author is Veronica Roth – Author of Divergent, Insurgent and the upcoming Allegiant.
If you haven’t read the books please do!

I’m an amateur writer. (and now blogger)
I have completed writing two books. Which are gold to me and looking at their PDF’s just makes me happy!
I wish to become an author, one day. Hopefully tomorrow.
Till tomorrow comes I’ll be writing my heart out.

Other stuff about me!

I’m a nerd for TV shows. If I tell you how many of them I watch … You’ll faint. My favorite is Castle.
If you mention Vampires to me, it’ll translate to only one fandom – Vampire Diaries. Other concepts of Vampires do not interest me.
Just like the seasons of the year – I have different celebrity phases. They are continuous, changing and never ending.
I love listening to music. And dancing. And acting crazy- Oh wait! Crazy should be in a whole different point.
I’m weird. Insane. Crazy. Shy. Awkward. But I also happen to be ‘Me’ .. which is Awesome in itself.
I tend to think a lot. And blank out.
Daydreaming is my guilty pleasure.
I’m gonna go daydream right away. You should try it out too!

For the best ideas come to you only when you dream without restrains!

  1. DUDE? HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE ANY OTHER VAMPIRES? You just broke my heart. Well, you would if I actually had a heart. Sold it along with my soul a couple days back for the next season of Arrested Development.
In any case, hello fellow teenage writer! I may sound completely insane right now, but rest assured, I’m perfectly capable of wearing the mask of sanity.
Oh wait, that’s what serial killers do. Never mind! Uh, hi, then. Wanna be my friend? I try to meet cool people on wordpress when I can. You seem pretty cool, even if you aren’t into vampires (my story has vampires *goes to cry*).

  2. Hie!
I’m just as sane as you are, so we’re pretty much a bunch of serial killers together.
Oh well, sorry to disappoint you, but what I meant to say was (and now I’m typing it out loud) I like Vampire Diaries better than Twilight. (Any day!) There, there, now the Twihards can come hating. Or whatever.
But if a fellow teen writer writes about vampires, I’d be more than happy to indulge;)
    Friends:)

    • Serial killer buddies 4ever! Yeah, that doesn’t sound suspicious as all.
Pretty much everything is better than Twilight. It’s okay, I’m not really offended or anything. The Twihards can come and we’ll beat them up with insanity-powers. Yay! Friends! Now I can bother you by being strange,
Have you written any books? If so, what genre? I’ve always preferred fantasy type stuff myself, but science fiction is pretty awesome too. Who is Enid Blyton again? I swear I’ve heard her name before.

  3. Yayyy! We’ll beat them black and blue *waves sword in the air*
    I like strange people. 😀
Oh that sounds wrong. But well 😛
I have written two books – Detective/Crime Fiction.
I started off wanting to write fantasy, but too many others are writing the genre at the moment, so I’ll store my wand swishing for later.
Keeping it real for now 😉
She’s a British writer, pretty famous, wrote quite a lot of books – mostly for tweens.

    • It doesn’t sound too wrong, don’t worry. I get what your saying. Be careful about strange people! Stranger danger!
HAHAH OH MY GOD LOOK WHAT I JUST THOUGHT OF: Vee for Vendetta.
      I’m dying right now. 😀
I’ve written two books too! One fantasy, one urban-fantasy-action-parody-idon’tevenknow. Wand swishing is silly. You have to point it and stuff. How come nobody in harry potter used guns?
Ohhh, right. Have you ever read any Agatha Christie. She’s pretty good too.

  4. Ahahaha. Got me cracked up too!!
I saw this video on youtube which is about ‘How Harry Potter should have ended…” with guns and stuff, you won’t be disappointed!
Yes! I have! I especially love the Hercule Poirot investigations 😀 I imagine him to be someone like Sherlock – handsome and smart (unlike the sketches I’ve seen of him)

    • Oh man I love that video. I saw this one on the various problems in the third Batman movie. In the scene where he and Catwoman are fighting bad guys, this one dude just runs around and randomly falls over.
      It’s great.
I’m reading all the sherlock holmes stories myself right now. Have you watched Sherlock (the British TV show)? It’s freaking awesome… though my parents dislike it. 😛
Also, for some reason I do not get these replies on my notification thingy. Uhhhhhh… oh! Are you clicking the little ‘reply’ button in the bottom right hand corner of my response? I think that might be it. 😛
      Sorry. :c
I say sorry a lot. I’m rather timid.

      • Whoa! I watched that too! It’s so funny!
I haven’t watched the TV series – I just started reading the books – I mean, there are so many books I need to read. Hey, which is your favorite book?
Oh, I am clicking on that ‘reply’ button right there, should I do something else for you to get the notifications?
And no problem, I say sorry a lot too, even when it’s not my fault – you’re nice:)

      • My favourite book of all time is Battle Royale, which, by the way, I read BEFORE the Hunger Games got popular. I read about kids killing each other before it was cool.*Feels like such a hipster.*
I also love the bartimaeus trilogy by jonathan stroud, the skullduggery pleasant series by derek landy, and both 1984 and Animal Farm.
Read any of those, Vee? 😮
I got the notification this time. Don’t worry; it’s fine. I’ll just periodically check your page if there is no reply. Uh, okay, that sounds kind of stalker-ish. Don’t take it that way.
        Please.
        Pleeeeeeease. *Cries tears of awkwardness*
I’m nice? Wow, thanks! I got a compliment. I can see we’re going to be good friends here. 😉

  5. Oh, I haven’t! And it’s no surprise for me – I stay at opposite side of the globe and Hunger Games got famous here just about a year and a half ago!
I don’t think it’s stalker-ish, I think it’s being curious … Unless you plan on observing my life and then killing me, I’d call that very author-ish.
*Wipes your tears with her favorite handkerchief*
And you know what? One of my characters has a name very close to yours – Avaria.
    Avery.
Get it? This friendship was meant to be!

    • Really? It’s been famous here for a few years. The first two books are great, but the third was so godawful. Words cannot describe my disappointment.
Okay, good, no stalker-ishness. Why would I observe your life and then kill you? I’m no serial killer! Although that pun’s bad enough to drive most people to murder.
That’s a good thing. Puns are supposed to be bad. 😀
You have a handkerchief? DUDE! AWESOME! I want a hankie, so I can be all British and posh. And I need a fob, those old time pocketwatches on chains.
Well, Avery’s a pseudonym, cos my normal name sucks. My last name is unpronounceable. They said it wrong just last week while I was at my school’s awards ceremony for honours. Though high school honours don’t mean squat.
This friendship MUST be meant to be! We can rule the world together!

  6. I think from the trilogy, Catching Fire was my favorite – it really got me surprised.
Yes, I do! I mean, everyone here has a hankie! 🙂
Oh my god! I wanted one too! Aren’t they just so cool?
I know it’s a pseudonym:) Just saying. And I don’t think your real name sucks, ah. People don’t pronounce my last name right either, and I get teased for it then. But well, we’re awesome, so it doesn’t even matter!

    • I liked the Hunger Games the best. Mockingjay was unrealistic and rather dull. Have you ever read anything by Anthony Horrowitz? He’s one of my favourite authors, mostly due to his rather morbid sense of humour.
They are so cool! I want that and a trench coat, but one of the really long ones that go down to your ankles. So it can flap around me while I walk.
I want that, some cool shades, and a red and white umbrella. Then if I’m ever caught in the rain I can just walk to the nearest anime/videogame convention and cosplay as Albert Wesker.
My last name is mainly hard to pronounce because every second letter is silent. What’s wrong with yours?

  7. He is going on my list, now. I’ve not read a lot of books. Mostly cause you don’t get ’em here.
Oh, I think I wanted something similar to a trench coat, but not quite – like something in bright sophisticated red, long and has a lot of pockets and a belt, with those long collars. Ahhh.
You have a wonderful imagination – I don’t know who’d I be in a cosplay! Never been to one!
My last name is.. uhm.. let’s see. You can say there are people who have the same last name as mine .. but I’ve got a variation – I’ve got an ‘O’ instead of an ‘A’ .. so that makes the pronunciation different from the other surname, even though the rest of the letters are the same.
But no one cares to see the difference .. I’ve stopped too.

  8. Oh, like an overcoat or something. For women? I like long collars.and pretty colours.
I’ve never cosplayed either. I mean, I might want to one day, but the costumes are incredibly expensive and I really don’t know what I’d want to be. Thank you – I do pride myself on my imagination! 😀
I don’t really pay attention to my last name anymore. I just tell people it’s the ‘hard to pronounce thing’. And they get that. I hope.

    • Yeah, like a fancy red overcoat. Do you watch Supernatural? A guy in there wears a trench coat, like all the time!
Well, yes, costumes are darn expensive. I’d be the singer, Avril Lavigne, if I could. But I’m too dark to adorn a blonde wig! But maybe, I’d love to be a pirate too, like Jack Sparrow – I mean, I love his costume! Especially the hats and the hair rings and ornaments!
Yeah, just let’s leave the last names. After all, now I’m Vee and you’re Avery 🙂 ❤

      • I have wanted to watch Supernatural, but I never seem to catch it when it’s on. I HAVE seen Buffy, however, and that show rocks!
Also, Dexter. Dexter’s pretty fuckin’ cool, even though I’m only three episodes in.
Hmm, Avril Lavigne, eh? Interesting choice. I have a couple of her songs, actually. For some strange reason. I have weird tastes in music; all my friends listen to rap or dubstep or whatever. I’m here listening to Within Temptation and the Joy Formidable.
        I feel like such a hipster. It’s not a good feeling. 😉
I love Jack Sparrow’s costume. His walk makes me laugh. Often I wonder if all those beads in his hair have somehow impaired his balance.
Yes! Vee and Avery for the win! We can be A-Vee-ry

  9. Oh well, you should! Make the time, Avery! It’s good. 😀
I should watch Buffy – heard so much about it. We never got it on cable here.
Yes, Dexter is cool. Lots of killings. Loads of blood. *rubs hands together in delight*
Yeah.. she is my favorite singer, though I’m more of a ‘song-which-attracts-me’ person than following just one band or singer. Blehh, I don’t listen to rap or dubstep, that much. Not even ‘much.’ I’d be cool even if I listen to Hannah Montana – why should others define us? 😉
Ahaha, that was very deep – it must be the weight of the beads and rings! 😛
    Whoa! Yay! A-Vee-ry! ❤

  10. I never have time! *Cries* I’m such a procrastinator. 😛
Buffy’s old, but it’s pretty good. Plus, she’s badass. There are no badass female characters nowadays. Hollywood doesn’t understand how to make them.
How much of Dexter have you seen? I’ve just started watching the first season, but it’s great. There IS a lot of blood. Ah well, I couldn’t imagine Dexter without it.
I follow only a few bands. I’ll just listen to songs I like, but some bands have a lot of good songs, so I take more of an interest in them. The only band I really love in is the Joy Formidable, because their lead singer has awesome hair. Seriously, her hair rocks.
I like alternative music the best. I don’t like country though. Something about it bothers me. Oh god, please don’t be a country fan. I don’t want to wake up hogtied in a stable while you prep your creepy Dexter knives!
By the way, Peeta and Katniss’s couple name is Peenis. I just saw that on the internet, and I’m dying.

  11. Hawwww. You should watch it. Like, hell yeah, you might really like it.
    But no pressure 😛
I’m into the third eppy of Buffy. Awesome. Yeah, she’s kinda fearless and confident, which is nice and fresh to see, when nowadays all you have is a damsel in distress. (Even if the damsel’s the MC and is supposed to be ‘strong’)
I really don’t know about Dexter. You see, the cable plays with me. Sometimes they show the old eppys, then the new ones and it all mixes up in my head. So season 6, I’ll say?
Joy Formidable? Will check them out:)
Stable? Nah.. A sewer, maybe? Or would that be too stinky? Honestly, I feel the best place to kill is somewhere that I never visit. I’ll just kill you there and leave you and never return.
But then again, I like to kill at the spot, which ever place that might be.
Oh, Peenis, heard about it! Apparently Josh was creep-ed out by seeing a poster that said ‘We ship Peenis!’ (You see, how I plainly call him Josh like he’s my boyfriend. Actually he is.)

  12. Damsels in distress are sad, sad characters. You know who’s a good, badass female MC? Hit Girl from the ‘Kickass’ movies. And Ramona Flowers (from Scott Pilgrim). Like, when (pre)teen girls from comic books do a better job showing how cool female characters can be than anything else, you know there’s a problem.
I watch stuff occasionally too, but we don’t get Dexter on cable. We have crappy cable, actually. I watch CSI on and off, same with Criminal Minds and some other stuff. I like buying the whole season and watching those better.
A sewer would be very stinky. Don’t you dare drown me. Drowning in sewer water… gross.
Yeah, kill somebody somewhere out of the way and not connected to you. Harder to trace. Smart. Are you a serial killer by chance? 😉
Mhm, you’re his girlfriend, eh? *Nods head slowly with a great deal of sarcasm*. Suuuuuure. Just cause you’ve got him locked in your basement or something DOESN’T mean its consensual.
At least, not until the mind-control drugs take effect.

  13. Yes, Ramona Flowers is really awesome!
I don’t know why people make female characters so pitiable! Like, we don’t need your pity. At All.
I like criminal minds. The cable here sucks too. I mean, they keep mixing the old and new episodes. My fav show is Castle, have you watched that? I like pretty little liars too!
Well… for the serial killer identity… that’s for you to wonder and for me to know. But I think you’ve already guessed 😛
Ohhh, thanks for reminding me.. I have to go and prepare the drugg…. I mean the soup, I have to make Josh some soup.. coz you know he’s hungry… Uhm, yeah…

  14. Yeah, ladies don’t need pity! You can beat us guys up with kung-fu and shit. Which, by the way, is another media problem. Women with martial arts/self defence training somehow are powerless against a man because… what? He’s male? So his manliness overrides all those karate skills?
    Seriously, Hollywood?
Criminal Minds is OK. It’s entertaining, but pretty stupid. I haven’t watched Castle or Pretty Little Liars. :c DON’T BE ANGRY! I don’t even know what pretty little liars is about.
Oh dear… I know a serial killer. If I ever have bullying problems or an evil boss, I’ll be sure to notify you. 😉
Poor Josh. It’s okay… soon it will all be over! Just be good and drink the Stockholme Syndrome soup and then you’ll have found your true love… until she gets tired of you. And some other attractive star comes wandering along.

    • Exactly! Hollywood doesn’t get it! I think so far Buffy is the only show I’ve seen with a strong female protagonist. That and Castle ❤ Detective Kate Beckett is quite a badass herself.
But I don't think there's need to worry, since we're the future writers, we'll take care of it! *High five*
I'm definitely not angry, I'm the nice kind, remember? 😛
Yes! Serial Killer to the rescue!
Oh well, I let Josh go. (After he promised me a role in Mockingjay)
It's time for celebrity hunt now! 😀

      • We can write strong female protagonists. Someday…
I need to watch Castle. It sounds pretty interesting.
        *Returns high five.*
High fives rock. I know people who give really weak high fives. They hold their hand up and kind of tap your hand. Quite strange.
Hmm, celebrity hunts sound fun. What kind of celebrity are you looking for? I can totally see you in a hunter’s outfit, stalking actors through the bushes with your elephant gun. 😉
You are the very nice kind. I mean, for a serial killer. Do you say please and thank you to your victims as you kill them?

  15. We will!
Aha, I like the enthusiastic Hi5, like the one who doesn’t make you feel the other person is dead or weak… :]
Uhm, I don’t know really, sometimes I go for the really good looking ones, sometimes the British ones (cause I love their accent) and sometimes after watching hundreds of their interview videos I hunt the sweet-from-inside ones! Depends on my mood, really.
    Do you have a particularity?
Hunter’s outfit? Wouldn’t I stand out of place in that?
    Don’t know.
Nice… Yes, for a serial killer. Ohhhh, I say all the three magical words: Please, thank you and sorry!

  16. You’d probably like Benedict Cumberbatch. Or whichever guy is currently playing Doctor Who. I don’t watch the show, but it has a rabid fanbase. I like British accents too. I can do quite a few accents pretty well, but the British one is my favourite.
I can do this high pitched German accent. Oh my god, I love it. And I can do that person in Family Guy with the high pitched voice who always goes ‘oh no’!
My particularity is uniqueness. I like people who don’t look and act the same as everyone else. So, like, the actresses who everyone says are beautiful, well, if they have the same kind of beauty as all the other actresses, then that’s boring. There’s nothing special about them.
    Uniqueness is grand!
Nah, you wouldn’t stand out of place. You’d be in a savannah, or a jungle, where you brought the actors after you tranqu’ed them. It’s for camouflage purposes.
Heh, what a polite killer you’d be.

    • Ahahah! Hey, I know I’m replying after a while. But what the heck!
Uhm, I have started watching Dr. Who. It’s difficult to part with the doctor and but the regenerated form is also so lovable that you feel guilty of not missing the old doctor. You should watch it!
Wooohhoo. Great. I’m a fail at accents. Even before I start my friend would be like, “Uhm, Stop.No Accents. At all.” Yeah, I’m that bad. It’ll be fun to hear you!
      Uniqueness rocks.
Uhm you know what? We should swap emails, cause that’s more convenient, it’s on my phone and stuff so I can reply immediately.
Stana Katic is one such unique actress, I swear. Haven’t come across someone so beautiful and badass at the same time.
      Who’s your favorite actress?

      • There you are! I was wondering if you had forgotten me… 😉
Hmm, yeah, I might start watching Dr. Who eventually. I have a friend who has pretty much all the seasons; maybe I can convince her to lend them to me.
Aww, that kinda sucks. Your friend should at least let you try a little. Practice makes perfect after all, right?
Okay, so for the email thing, how would you like to talk? Through texting or skype or something of that ilk? It DOES probably make more sense than wordpress.
She does look pretty badass, I have to agree. I think my favourite actress is Milla Jovovich. She kicks ass.

  17. Forget you? Never!
Uhm, I really suck at accents. They all sound the same when I speak them, and one might think I’m stoned or something, and I end up laughing the words out most of the time! But hey, maybe you could teach me!
Yep, skype would do. Add me – jessie_salonie@hotmail.com (Salonie Powar, I reckon is my screen name) This is going to be fun! And awesome!
*Googles Milla Jovovich and begins reading all she can on her*

  18. I have just found this blog. Good to know that you want to be a writer!

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
    ― Maya Angelou

  19. Hi there! My name is Cameron and I was wondering if you could email me. I had a quick question! Thanks so much. 🙂 Hope you have a great day!

  20. Have you ever read Bloodlines? They’re the sequel series to Vampire Academy, but in my opinion are so much better! They are so addicting, and if you like VD, you will love these books. I got my Best Friend addicted, now I shall make you!

    • Heyyy! I haven’t read any Vampire book till date. I’m already buried in a huge mountains of books that I need to read! But I will surely check them out – Thank you so much for letting me know about them. AND to return the favor, have you read The 5th wave? It’s brilliant and funny.
